The neck lift procedure is a way of treating the neck area to reduce excess, sagging skin that may develop. This is done by “lifting” the skin by making incisions behind the ears. The skin is pulled upward and excess skin is removed. In some instances, the neck lift procedure may also combine liposuction or other fat removal method to address submental fullness, or the undesirable “double chin” that can appear with age. The procedure is minimally invasive and provides dramatic results while maintaining a natural appearance. The procedure can be done in conjunction with a facelift, brow lift, or other facial procedures to reduce downtime when compared with procedures completed months apart.
