I had a revision rhinoplasty 3 months ago with Dr. Romo, and though I’m still in the early stages of healing- I’m beyond thrilled with the results thus far.
My original nose had a rather sizable dorsal hump as well as a nasal bone break that left my nose severely asymmetrical. I had my first rhinoplasty back in 2001. The doctor had smoothed out the dorsal hump, and made a pretty decent attempt at trying to make my nose symmetrical. I was moderately happy with the result. However, though the doctor had done a decent job with the aesthetics of my nose, he left the structural anatomy of my nose in shambles. Over the years the nose began to slowly collapse and fold onto itself as well as drastic drop – creating a long, crooked, somewhat hooked appearance that caused an obstruction in my left cavity.

Dr romo took me on despite the difficulty of my case and made absolute magic. With a cartridge graph taken from my ear- Dr. Romo completely rebuilt my nose- turning it into the the perfectly sized (small- but not scary small) and symmetrical nose that I have always wanted.
As the swelling goes down, the nose looks better by the day. I’m no longer scared to look in the mirror- I’ve never felt this beautiful ever in my life!

He is an expert, likely unparalleled, in both the science and aesthetics of the face. He is sensitive to an individual patient’s situation, and he educates the patient about that situation and how it can be approached. He is focused on improving or rectifying precisely what a patient wants to accomplish, not on pressing for more extensive treatments. I began with my highest priority, which became Dr. Romo’s priority. The outcome was excellent. He entirely achieved what I wanted and needed.

Dr. Romo and his staff are beyond kind, gracious and thorough. I initially saw Dr. Romo 4 years again when I initially wanted to have the procedure done, however due to my job I was unable to have it done it at the time. 4 years later I walked back into his office as if I had never left. The staff remembered me by name and made me feel so welcome. Dr. Romo makes you feel at ease, listens to what your goals are and delivers.

Post-Op was a breeze and he followed-up with me several time before I saw him a week after surgery just to see how things were going. I followed his instructions to a tee and by the end of the month I would already see positive results.

It’s now 5 months after the surgery and I can absolutely say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Prior to the surgery I was having trouble looking at myself in the mirror. My nose affected my actions and self esteem way more than I thought. Most surgery I felt like I had a second chance at life. I could be a new, improved version of me. My self-esteem has risen, and I even got a boyfriend only 1 month after having the surgery!! (I haven’t had a boyfriend in over 7 years). I feel like a have control over my life an possibilities seem endless. I can’t thank Dr. Romo and his staff for all of their support. I would 100% recommend Dr. Romo and will definitely be going back to him should I elect to have additional surgeries.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas Romo since 2002, and have had him perform several different procedures on my face throughout the years. Dr. Romo is a genius. I had been rejected by two of the best known New York plastic surgeons. Dr. Romo is not a cookie cutter surgeon. He crafted my surgery as to address my problem and address the areas that needed special attention. If you want a look crafted for you and only you, then Dr. Romo is the plastic surgeon to use. I could not be happier with his work, his personality, his office staff (a special thank you to Diane and Michele) and I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Romo for 10 years now, ever since he did my rhinoplasty. He is brilliant, subtle with his work, and a perfectionist. He is also active in his community and a humanitarian, which means a lot to me from someone in whom I am trusting my health. His staff are very attentive, giving advice before procedures and calling the day after to see how I am doing. He has always respected my wishes and kept me looking as natural as possible. My friends can’t figure out why I look so good.

Dr. Romo is extremely professional, kind, and takes excellent care of his patients. I wholeheartedly trust him with my face, improving its appearance and keeping the look totally natural, I don’t think you can get any more personal than that.
